Privacy
Last updated October 14, 2026. Short version: we store what you put in an event so the group can use the link. We do not sell it.
What we store
- Email, after you confirm a 6-digit code (RSVP, claim, expense, or admin).
- Name, RSVP answers, potluck claims, and expenses you log on an event.
- Optional payment me-links (Venmo, PayPal, Revolut) if you add them.
Who processes it
Email delivery uses Resend as a processor. Hosting uses Vercel. Analytics use Vercel Analytics and PostHog (EU cloud, Frankfurt) as processors: we count page views and steps such as creating, answering or sharing an event, without cookies and without storing anything in your browser. Event links are removed before anything is sent, and your IP address is not stored. Once you confirm your email, these steps are linked to an internal account ID, never to your email or name. No ad network.
What we do not do
We do not sell your email. We do not put private events in a public directory. Event links are unguessable and noindexed.
Delete me
Open Account and choose Delete account. That removes your email, name, photo, RSVPs, and every event you own. Expenses you logged on someone else’s event stay so their totals still add up, with your name removed.
Sign-in codes are deleted once they expire. Or email hello@meetza.de from the address we have and ask us to delete it. We will.
